James Hahl, 541st Forward Surgical Team senior medic, explains combat life saving techniques to NATO soldiers during a combat lifesaver course at Camp Pannonia, Afghanistan, Dec. 21, 2010. The soldiers took the CLS course in order to increase the survivability of patients at the point of injury and get them back to the surgical team for treatment.
