Cpl. Andrew McClure, 23, an Assault Breacher Vehicle maintainer from Boise, Idaho, tightens up pads on a track for an ABV at Forward Operating Base Jackson, Dec. 2. The track of an ABV is the lifeline of the vehicle, which is why it is often inspected closely. Marines with the ABV platoon of 1st Combat Engineer Battalion, 1st Marine Division (Forward), are continuously conducting route clearance missions throughout Helmand province.
