Pixler, a native of Fort Worth, Texas, and Ferguson, a Dallas native, are both from Company B, 615th Aviation Support Battalion, 1st Air Cavalry Brigade. Maintenance crews and pilots use bad weather days to catch up on scheduled maintenance, perform unscheduled maintenance and to conduct refresher training.
