The President of Macedonia, Branko Crvenkovski (center), greeted Col. Paul E. Funk II (right), commander, 1st Ironhorse Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division and Command Sgt. Maj. Stanley D. Small, the Ironhorse Brigade's command sergeant major, during a visit to Camp Taji, Iraq Jan 7. A battalion of Crvenkovski's troops currently serve alongside Soldiers of the Ironhorse Brigade on Taji and according to Funk, Macedonia is a vital coalition partner that plays a major role in many of his brigade's missions.
