Sixteen runners from the 64th Brigade Support Battalion along with their four-member “cheer team” show off their unit pride and Native American Indian support at the Native American Heritage Month half-marathon Nov. 20 in Basra, Iraq. The “cheer team” waited a few hundred feet from the finish line and ran each member in with encouraging words and motivational shouts. The team also cheered on other runners who participated in the marathon.
