Cpls. Justin Wade and Jeremy White, both Crash Fire Rescue Marines with Marine Wing Support Squadron 373, 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing (Forward), complete the metal detector test lane during the practical application portion of the Counter IED Class aboard Camp Bastion, Afghanistan. MWSS-373 Marines receive the training before they can go on convoys with the unit. During the class, Marines learn about the different types of improvised explosive devices, how they are made and what signs to look for when searching for IED's.
