On Dec. 9, Army Lt. Col. Gregg L. Parks, battalion commander for 2nd Combined Arms Battalion, 136th Infantry Regiment, speaks during a prayer service for fallen Army Sgts. Corey J. Rystad, Nicholas D. Turcotte and Bryan T. McDonough, soldiers who seved with the Minnesota Army National Guard, during a prayer service at Camp Taqaddum's mainside chapel. 1st Marine Logistics Group is deployed with I MEF (FWD) in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom in the Al Anbar Province of Iraq (MNF-W) to develop the Iraqi Security Forces, facilitate the development of official rule of law through democratic government reforms, and continue the development of a market based economy centered on Iraqi Reconstruction.
