U.S. Marines Augment Pakistan Flood Relief Efforts in Sindh Province

U.S. Marine Corp Sgt. Leo Parry, CH-53 Super Stallion crew chief, gazes out the back of a CH-53 after aiding fellow Marines in offloading bags of flour and boxes of high-energy biscuits from the aircraft at a World Food Programme aid distribution site Oct. 14 near Pano Aqil Cantonment, Pakistan. The U.S. Marine Corps’ 15th and 26th Marine Expeditionary Units have been operating CH-46 Sea Knight and CH-53 helicopters in the Sindh Province since early September bringing relief supplies to those in need. Since Aug. 5, U.S. military helicopters have transported more than 11 million pounds of supplies.
