Pat Poulin, an Armed Services YMCA volunteer, and her dog, Visa, visit Chief Petty Officer Mark Simpson in the Intensive Care Unit at Naval Medical Center San Diego. Poulin and Visa visit patients once a week throughout the hospital to comfort patients and raise morale.
