Cothran, a martial arts instructor trainer with School of Infantry West - Detachment Hawaii, teaches a martial culture study to students of Martial Arts Instructor Course 7-10 after hiking to the top of Kansas Tower Hill on Marine Corps Base Hawaii, Sept. 15, 2010. The hike and study were part of the final events in the physically and mentally taxing, 3-week course curriculum.
