Sgt. Nicholas Jacobson, 58th Combat Engineer Company, Regimental Support Squadron, 11th Armored Cavalry Regiment, shows his Soldiers how to properly secure a block of C4 together for use as a cratering charge during the 58th CEC’s live-detonation training at the National Training Center on Fort Irwin, Calif., Aug. 31. The charges will be placed inside a hole then detonated to make large craters to designed impede an enemy’s advance.
