Maj. Stephen M. Griffiths runs toward a CH-46 Sea Knight helicopter after hearing the casualty evacuation bell of Marine Medium Helicopter Squadron 364 at Al Taqaddum, Iraq, Aug. 31. The Purple Foxes of HMM-364, Marine Aircraft Group 16 (Reinforced), 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing (Forward), assumed authority from the Red Dragons of HMM-268 Aug. 29, for providing casualty evacuation, general transportation and raid flights. Griffiths is the executive officer of HMM-364 and a Santa Ana, Calif., native.
