Maj. Gen. Vincent Brooks, the United States Division – South commanding general, and Command Sgt. Maj. Jim Champagne, senior non-commissioned officer of USD-S, pay their respects to Sgt. Brandon Maggart at the Contingency Operating Base Basra chapel, Aug. 24. Maggart, a member of Battery A, 5th Battalion, 5th Air Defense Artillery Regiment, is survived by his wife and son.
