CAMP LIBERTY, Iraq – Sgt. Walter Cook, Battery B, 2nd Battalion, 20th Field Artillery Regiment, Fires Brigade, 4th Infantry Division, conducts a random search on a vehicle during a patrol outside Victory Base Complex Oct. 3. Soldiers are operating out of their traditional roll as artillerymen. They normally man the Guided Multiple Launch Rocket Systems but now perform patrols outside the wire nearly on a daily basis.
