Cpl. Carson Ferraro, a UH-1Y Huey crew chief with Marine Light Attack Helicopter Squadron 369, 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing (Forward), fires a .50-caliber machine gun on a range outside of Camp Bastion after completing an aerial reconnaissance mission, Sept. 3, in support of 3rd Battalion, 1st Marines in Southern Helmand province. Ferraro and his team showed off the full capability of their Huey by firing all of the aircraft's weapon systems on the range. The helo is also equipped with a GAU-17 machine gun and 2.75-inch rockets.
