Marines with Company A, 2nd Assault Amphibian Battalion, Ground Combat Element of Special-Purpose Marine Air-Ground Task Force, Continuing Promise 2010, maneuver an amphibious assault vehicle onto a beach in Covenas, Colombia, Aug. 10, in preparation for subject matter expert exchanges with Colombian Marines. The Marines’ mission of CP10 is to conduct civil-military operations including subject matter expert exchanges, humanitarian civic assistance and disaster response to partner nations to the Caribbean, Central and South America.
