Joint forces forge stronger bonds while living, working side-by-side

Sgt. Nentheus Ford (at left), a native of Tampa, Fla., and a driver and chemical specialist from A Troop, 5th Squadron, 7th Cavalry Regiment, 1st Advise and Assist Brigade, 3rd Infantry Division, works with a policeman from 2nd Battalion, 7th Brigade, 2nd Iraqi Federal Police Division, to inspect an Iraqi humvee during daily operations on Joint Security Station Doura, July 19. The policemen are part of a program called Apache Combined Residence Exchange Program which gives them a more hands-on approach to training, by having them live and work with U.S. Soldiers 24-7 to teach them basic vehicle maintenance skills, weapons skills and standard operational tactics.
