U.S. Navy Capt. Peter J. Brennan, Commodore of the amphibious transport dock USS New Orleans prepares to get on a U.S. Marine Corps CH-46 Helicopter after a large scale multinational amphibious beach assault in Ancon, Peru on July 19. The USS New Orleans was deployed in support of operation Partnership of the Americas/Southern Exchange, a combined amphibious exercise designed to enhance cooperative partnerships with maritime forces from Argentina, Mexico, Peru, Brazil, Uruguay, and Colombia.
