Marines from the 13th Marine Expeditionary Unit attach an Ultra High Frequency repeater to a Combat SkySat balloon, July 14. After launching and gaining altitude the repeater allows the students to communicate through any UHF radio. The Combat SkySat allows radio coverage over a 600-mile radius at an altitude of 100,000 feet.
