As part of a multi-national training exercise, U.S. Navy Corpsmen of the reserve and medics of partner nations gave classes regarding field-expedient methods to save lives using common items and trash found on the battlefield. Marines of ten nations learn the proper method to carry injured victims from the battlefield. The U.S. Marines and Corpsmen are assigned to Special Purpose Marine Air-Ground Task force 24, participating in Partnership of the Americas and Southern Exchange -- designed to expose military forces of ten nations to amphibious operations and the fundamentals to enhance peacekeeping.
