A CH-53E Super Stallion from Marine Heavy Helicopter Squadron 466 touches down outside of Camp Dwyer to unload Marines while testing emergency resupply methods here July 1. Marines from 1st Marine Logistics Group and 1st Reconnaissance Batallion worked together with the pilots from HMH-466 to drop six different loads of water from a Super Stallion. The tactic may be used to provide emergency resupllies to Marines on the ground. The experiment will span several weeks and Marines will test the resupply method from several different helicopters.
