“I’m proud of my running time. This was my first 5K run and I am glad that I’ve put myself up to this challenge.” Spc. Edwin Yeppez is the second place male runner that participated in the 5K run that took place on June 14 in celebration of the Army’s birthday at Camp Cropper, Iraq. Yeppez belongs to Alpha Company 72nd Brigade Special Troops Battallion, a National Guard unit from Pasadena, Texas and a subordinate unit to the 49th Military Police Brigade Tactical Command Post.
