Special Forces teams from 18 nations stand in formation during the closing ceremony of this year's Fuerzas Comando 2010, which was held at the 1st Dominican Infantry Brigade "August 16" military base in the capital city of Santo Domingo, June 24. The exercise is a unique opportunity for participating nations of the Americas to improve their special operations capabilities. Fuerzas Comando is a U.S. Southern Command sponsored special operations skills competition and senior leader seminar to improve regional cooperation and enhance mutual trust.
