John Wissler, commander, US Marine Corps Forces Command and commanding general, Fleet Marine Forces, Atlantic, greets San Franciscans during the annual Italian Heritage Day Parade, San Francisco, Oct. 9, 2016. Marines and Sailors with I Marine Expeditionary Force participated in the event during San Francisco Fleet Week. San Francisco Fleet Week is an event where thousands of Marines and Sailors come to showcase the capabilities of the Navy-Marine Corps team to residents, and an opportunity for service members to meet and thank the community for its support.
