Senior Airman Nicole Nellist, 447th Expeditionary Civil Engineer Squadron, explosive ordinance technician, deployed from Dover Air Force Base, Delaware, carries a case of 40mm grenades to the bottom of the range pit, to be controlled detonated, June 12, at Sather Air Base, Iraq. Air Force EOD technicians use controlled detonations to destroy hazardous unexploded ordinance, unserviceable munitions, and ammo from the amnesty boxes located on base.
