One of Naval Air Station Sigonella's Assistant Fire Chief John Burgess, assesses and prepares the rescue order for simulated victims based upon their injuries. The injuries are result of a simulated building collapse that marked the beginning of Exercise Reliant Star. Today is the first day of the exercise, taking place on all Commander Navy Europe installations. The goal of the exercise is to test each of the base's emergency response teams.
