Christian T. Griffiths, Dry Prong, La., resident, is promoted to the rank of major, by Col. Jonathan T. Ball, commander of the 256th Infantry Brigade Combat Team, during a formal change of command and promotion ceremony held as Griffiths relinquished command to 1st Lt. Nicole M. Campbell of Pineville, La. The Alexandria, La., company mobilized and deployed as part of the 256th Infantry Brigade Combat Team, and is currently conducting force protection missions at Camp Liberty, Iraq, to help set the conditions for the responsible draw down of U.S. Troops and equipment.
