Maj. Billy R. Green, pictured as a master sergeant, when he was one of the Marine Corps' last enlisted pilots. Green flew missions in the F4U Corsair during the Korean War as a master sergeant. He received his commission upon returning to Cherry Point. Two of his daughters, M. Suzanne Mogren and Cindy A. Draper, visited the air station, April 22, to pay homage to him.
