An Oregon Army National Guard Soldier with the 41st Infantry Brigade Combat Team provides medical assistance to a role-player by placing a dressing on a wound to control bleeding during the brigade's Expert Infantryman Badge (EIB) event, July 19, at Camp Roberts, Calif. One day of the EIB event is dedicated to medical lanes where Soldiers must complete more than 15 tasks, such as a nine-line medical evacuation requests, restoring breathing, applying dressings and controlling bleeding.
