Staff Sgt. Willie Derr, 1st Theater Sustainment Command, sings the national anthem during the Memorial Day Observance at Camp Arifjan, Kuwait, May 31. The ceremony honored past and present veterans and was highlighted by a challenge from Maj. Gen. Randy E. Manner, deputy commanding general, Third Army, to become better Soldiers and people in honor of those who have paid the ultimate price for freedom.
