The main players in Camp Cropper's TIF transition to the government of Iraq are Maj. Gen. Jerry Cannon, U.S. Forces-Iraq deputy commanding general for detainee operations and provost marshal general, and Dara Noor Al-Deen, Iraq's minister of justice. The leaders met April 21 in the first of four Theatre Internment Facility Transitional Conferences slated between April and July. Camp Cropper is the last detention center slated to be turned over to Iraq.
