Petty Officer 2nd Class Dario Smith, postal non-commissioned officer in charge and Petty Officer 2nd Class Andrew Jacobson, postal clerk, have been deployed here since Feb. 2, 2009 and run the post office 6 days a week, eight hours a day at Forward Operating Base Ghazni. Smith is originally from Roxboro, N.C. and Jacobsen from Charleston, S.C.
