U.S. Army Staff Sgt. Chad Rutan observes a Soldier from 2nd Battalion, 75th Ranger Regiment, as he instructs fellow Soldiers on proper exiting procedures during a parachute jump, aboard a C-130 Aircraft, as part of a special onsite jumpmaster training program at Joint Base Lewis-McChord, April 13. Rutan, a Dallas, native, is part of team of U.S. service members that arrived at JBLM last week from the U.S. military's Jumpmaster Training School, at Fort Benning, Ga., to train more than 60 Soldiers to become jumpmasters. Onsite training programs, like this one, are responsible for saving the Department of Defense millions of dollars every year.
