Noncommissioned officers of the 1st Air Cavalry Brigade, 1st Cavalry Division, U.S. Division - Center, were accompanied by Command Sgt. Maj. William Johnson (left in tan shirt), the command sergeant major of 1st Armored Division and USD-C, on a run to build on team spirit and pride, March 31. The run was led by Command Sgt. Maj. Glen Vela (front and center of formation) from Dallas, the command sergeant major of 1st ACB. "I could sense and feel the motivation of the Soldiers seeing the 1ID (1st Infantry Division) helicopters behind us, with redeployment right around the corner, they?re excited about going home," said Vela after the run. "It was a motivating run with them sounding off and looking good."
