Col. John Huey, 89th Military Police Brigade, Fort Hood, Texas, awards Staff Sgt. Jason Andrews of Salem, Ohio, of the 1192nd Engineer Company, an Army Commendation Medal and words of praise. Andrews, the non-commissioned officer in charge of a road project on Camp Taji, did whatever it took to make sure the road was completed before the handover ceremony on March 15. The new road, leading to the Theater Internment Reconciliation center, was a vital part of the drawdown of U.S. forces and last step in the handover of the TIRC to the Iraqi army.
