The Fallen Soldier Half-Marathon, organized by 4th Battalion, 227th Aviation Regiment, 1st Air Cavalry Brigade, 1st Cavalry Division, U.S. Division–Center, was held, Feb. 28, to honor the memory of those who gave the ultimate sacrifice in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. As each participant of the race crossed the finish line, they were presented with a medal made especially for the event.
