U.S. Air Force Staff Sgt. Juan Rijos, an aerial porter assigned to Forward Operating Base Farah, Afghanistan, originally from MacDill Air Force Base, Fla., performs a dead lift of 475 pounds during a FOB weightlifting competition that he organized, Feb. 12. Rijos placed third in the middleweight class with a combined weight of 1,235 pounds lifted in the bench press, squat and dead lift events.
