Greek societies host poetry slam at JBB

Thomas D. Battle, the battalion adjutant with 2nd Battalion, 402nd Army Field Support Brigade out of Rock Island, Ill., performed an act with poetry during the Joint Base Balad Poetry Slam at Morale, Welfare and Recreation east Feb. 11 at JBB, Iraq. Battle, a Portsmouth, Va., native, read poetry and performed during the event.
