CAMP LIBERTY, Iraq - Maj. Gen. Robert Williamson (left) takes instruction on using the teleprompter from Staff Sgt. Adam Troy Navarro from Farmingville, N.Y., a broadcast journalist with the 363rd Mobile Public Affairs Detachment, a mobilized Army Reserve unit attached to the 4th Infantry Division Public Affairs Office in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. Williamson agreed to make an impromptu promotional video spot for the Armed Forces Network while visiting the Media Operations Center run by the 363rd MPAD. Williamson and Command Sgt. Maj. James Huddleston from the USAR?s 412th Engineer Command in Vicksburg, Miss., met with troops at Camp Liberty June 29 as part of a one-week visit to several base camps in Iraq to check on the welfare of Guard and Reserve Soldiers. As a civilian, Navarro is a police officer for the City of New York in Queens. As of June 21 the number of National Guard and Reserve personnel called to active duty and deployed in support of the partial mobilization totaled 100,776 including both units and individual augmentees
