The winners of each category of the Operation Iraqi Freedom Great Aloha Run stand together after running the 8.15-mile individual run and four-mile walk at Contingency Operating Base Speicher, near Tikrit, Iraq, Feb. 1. A four-mile "Sounds of Freedom" formation run was also conducted as part of the 25-year-old event. Additionally, the Hawaii-based 2nd Squadron, 6th Cavalry Regiment, 25th Combat Aviation Brigade, TF Wings, also conducted the OIF GAR at Forward Operating Base Warrior, near Kirkuk, Iraq.
