Staff Sgt. Hugh Fowler of Columbia, S.C. was awarded the Bronze Star Medal and his son, Spc. Devin Fowler also from Columbia, S.C., was awarded the Army Achievement Medal during the Headquarters and Headquarters Co., 751st Combat Sustainment Support Battalion's unit meeting. Staff Sgt. Fowler serves as the battalion's S-1 non-commissioned officer in charge and Spc. Fowler works as a supply specialist. The battalion is wrapping up for mission complete and is heading home in the weeks to come.
