Camp Krutke, located in the expansion area of Camp Leatherneck, Afghanistan, was dedicated to Petty Officer 2nd Class Jared Krutke, gunner's mate who was fatally shot while performing his duties during NMCB 74's 2007 deployment to Guam, and will serve as the camp for all Seabee battalions deployed to Camp Leatherneck for years to come.
