    Japan Ground Self-Defense Force soldiers fire at targets at an unknown distance range aboard Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, Calif., Jan. 28, 2016. The JGSDF soldiers were training with instructors from 1st Marine Divisions Pre-Scout Sniper Course as a part of Exercise Iron Fist, an annual bilateral training exercise designed to improve the U.S. and Japan’s bilateral amphibious operation capabilities.
