Landing Craft Air Cushion 77, from Assault Craft Unit 2 based at Joint Expeditionary Base Little Creek-Fort Story, Va., rides over a swell in rough waters as it approaches the amphibious assault ship USS Nassau. Nassau is underway with other elements of the Nassau Amphibious Ready Group and the embarked 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit for a certification exercise before their deployment in early 2010.
