David Eden, California National Guard's 40th Infantry Division Agribusiness Development Team security forces member (center), his new 4th ID combat patch, Nov. 20 at Camp Wright in Asadabad, Afghanistan. As part of the ceremony, the oldest and the youngest member of the team received their patches first. At age 51 and a former member of the U.S. Marines and the U.S. Navy, Eden was the first from the team to receive the patch. He was followed by U.S. Army Pvt. 1st Class Brandon McGee, ADT security forces member (left), the youngest soldier. Harrel and U.S. Army Maj. Gen. A.C. Blalock, Alabama Adjutant General (not pictured), stopped at the camp to participate in the combat patch ceremony for the ADT that formally recognizes the team as part of the 4th ID.
