Wolf during cake cutting ceremony for the New York Fire Department in New York City celebrating the 234th birthday of the Marine Corps, Nov. 6. Traditionally at Marine Corps birthday celebrations, the oldest Marine present will cut a piece of cake for the youngest, symbolizing the passing down of wisdom, traditions and experience to younger generations of Marines.
