Lt. Col. Ryan Worthan, commander of 4th Battalion, 17th Infantry Regiment, 1st Brigade Combat Team, 1st Armored Division, describes the mission and objectives of the Buffalo’s battalion during a distinguished visitor’s day at Fort Bliss, Texas, Oct. 5, 2015. The Buffalo battalion is currently participating in Network Integration Evaluation 16.1, which is focused on future force development, training readiness, and multinational interoperability with participants from 13 partner nations, more than 10,000 service members, and 3,000 civilians.
