Seaman Devon Dejoie, assigned to the amphibious transport dock ship USS New Orleans greets first grade students at St. Andrew the Apostle School after he read them a story during a New Orleans Navy Week event. New Orleans is the site of one of 21 Navy Weeks planned across America in 2009. Navy Weeks are designed to show Americans the investment they have made in their Navy and increase awareness in cities that do not have a significant Navy presence.
