U.S. Navy Petty Officer 1st Class Brian Shapley, a native of Canadensis, Pa., currently deployed with Maritime Civil Affairs Team 214, hands a packet of school supplies to a child at the Tongoni Primary School in Tanga, Tanzania, Nov. 2. The school supplies were provided by People to People International, a private sector, not-for-profit organization based in Kansas City, Mo. MCAT 214 is currently assigned to Combined Joint Task Force-Horn of Africa.
