Iraqi soldiers from 2nd Battalion, 4th Brigade, 6th Iraqi Army Division, conducted Operation Vibrant Strike, their first air-assault mission with Soldiers from 1st Battalion, 75th Cavalry Regiment, May 15, from FOB Mahmudiyah. The operation took place with a key objective to seek and attack terrorists in the Mahmudiyah area. Soldiers marched over 12 kilometers in over 100-degree temperatures.
